Caregiving isn’t one-size-fits-all. It shifts, evolves, and adapts—just like the people we care for and the roles we play. That’s why we’re proud to introduce SimpliTend 2.0, a caregiving app for evolving care needs, designed to support every stage of the care journey without forcing caregivers to start over or switch tools.

💙 A Personal Reason for the Upgrade
This upgrade is deeply personal. My mom had Parkinson’s disease. In the early stages, she could use her smartphone and take walks on her own. My mom was a deeply independent person, and I know she wanted to stay involved in managing her own care. That’s where our original SimpliTend app could have been the perfect tool—helping us stay connected and manage her care together.
But as the disease progressed, things changed. She needed a wheelchair. Her hands shook so much that she couldn’t use the phone anymore. And yet, her care needs didn’t stop. We still had to manage medications, appointments, and daily routines. We still needed a way to share responsibilities with family and friends.
My mom passed away seven years ago. I can’t use SimpliTend to care for her anymore—but the experience of walking that journey with her shaped everything about this upgrade. SimpliTend 2.0 is built for caregivers who face those same transitions. It’s designed to grow with you, so you don’t have to change apps or lose information as care evolves. You simply switch modes.
🧩 Three Flexible Care Modes—Built for Real Life
SimpliTend 2.0 introduces three care modes, each designed to meet people where they are:
Caring for Myself
For anyone managing their own health—from recovery to chronic conditions. Stay organized, supported, and grounded.
Caring for Someone Without a Smartphone
For loved ones who aren’t online or are not able to use their smartphones. Family members can use this mode to share care, receive updates, and coordinate tasks with family or friends—all in one place.
Caring for Someone Who Uses Their Smartphone
For care that’s connected.
This mode is designed for care recipients who use their own smartphone, feel independent, and want to be actively involved in their care. Whether they’re managing medications, routines, or appointments, SimpliTend helps them stay informed and engaged.

At the same time, it recognizes that independence doesn’t mean going it alone. Due to health conditions, safety concerns, or simply being home alone, many care recipients still need support from family or friends. SimpliTend makes it easy to coordinate care, share updates, and unlock safety features that protect your loved one both indoors and outdoors.
🌱 Why It Matters
SimpliTend 2.0 is more than a redesign—it’s a reflection of real caregiving. It’s built to honor dignity, autonomy, and connection. Whether you’re caring solo or as part of a team, SimpliTend adapts with you.
No switching apps. No starting over. Just one platform that grows with your care journey.
